On July 6th, 2019, Colby Singletary was in a tragic accident that took his life. Colby was 18 years old and was going into his Senior year. He was a 2x State Champ in Wrestling and a Star Football player for Palmetto Ridge High School. He was also the 2017 Southwest Florida Wrestler of the Year, 2018 Wrestler of the Year & 2018 Male Athlete of the Year. He had offers to play D1 Football or Wrestle. To keep Colby’s educational dreams alive, the Family has set up a Scholarship Fund. Scholarships will be awarded each year to Collier County FHSAA Senior High School Student-Athletes, to financially help continue their dreams of furthering their education.
